Urban Land Institute

Mentoring

Building Industry Leaders (BIL) is a program built in cooperation with the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the Boys & Girls Clubs (BGC) to educate and mentor BGC high school students on numerous career opportunities in commercial real estate and give them the professional skills to become industry leaders and contributing members of their community.

Building Industry Leaders is a mentoring program that partners high school students with industry professionals in architecture, civil engineering, landscape architecture, construction, development, finance, real estate law and others. Students work to complete interactive projects in teams for a final project pitch to industry executives for the opportunity to win scholarships.
